Baking Addiction

So recently I have been inclined towards Baking, honestly I have been addicted to it, many of my friends stated that cooking is a very good way to relax and unwind their stress. Being me I never really believed it cause for me I am a very ‘Ready to cook’ kind of person LOL. So the first thing I tried was Banana Bread which is one of my favorites and my mum use to bake the best Banana Bread ever. Since it was my first attempt at independent baking it did not rise to well but the feedback got about the taste was very positive.

Next I tried a Simple Vanilla Cake, the rise and taste both were perfect, however I think I kept it in the oven for some extra minutes hence the top was too brown.

After that I thought of trying some Muffins my first attempt was trying Banana Muffins and to my shock they were just beautiful with great texture and taste I also tried to make some Chocolate Muffins which were also Yummy. Soon after that I tried my hands on Apple Cinnamon Muffins and like my friends said they were splendid.

Once I got the hang of cakes and muffins I wanted to try some Cinnamon Rolls, and wow I was impressed when the Cinnamon roses came out of the oven.

Looking forward to baking more, honestly it really unwinds all my stress and is very relaxing.

2013 Finora.... (so far)

It has been ages since I last posted anything here… well a lot of things have happened since, I just want to thank Godd and my Parents for everything that has happened in the last 6 months. To start with as much as I thought that this year is going to be a heavy one on me it was not thankfully. Well there was a lot of conflict at work that I was facing due to unnecessary politics, and as far I know myself I don’t understand politics hence I don’t indulge in it. However I was shocked to come across so many people who get some kind of statistic pleasure by indulging into such stuff, weird I must say. Now when I wrote this the first thing that came in my mind was “don’t I gossip?” “Don’t I talk behind someone’s back?”. The honest answer to that is “Yes I do” however it’s just for that moment, just for fun; however I realized that some of these people did it every single minute of the day. I mean am I so important to you that you talk about me and my life all the time. Honestly I pity them. Anyways coming back to the point, so almost the entire year till September was spent dodging such good for nothing morons. Trust me as easy as it sounds it’s not easy dealing with such people. They tend to get into your nerves my friends and family noticed that I had become rude, insensitive and sometimes negative.

But that is all past now and as all my friends know I got promoted in September and became a Band 30, it was the best birthday gift I got. More than anything else I am just glad that I moved away from any and every kind of negativity. Life has been one hell of a ride “LOL”.

Moving forward I celebrated Diwali at Nalini’s place was fun since it was over the weekend it was good 3 days of fun at her place.

And another thing that I have been really excited about is that I have started Baking, I enjoy baking to the core it is so relaxing and goodJ.

Knowing our FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS......

This is something we all learnt in Civics in class 6..... there are set of rights that each individual in this country should know and use. These are Civil Liberties that guaranty  that all Indians live their lives in peace and harmony. These rights applies to each citizen of this country and i believe each one should be aware of these right and fight for these rights irrespective of race, place of birth, religion, caste, creed, color or gender.
Its sad to know that most people in my country are not even aware of their rights, they are exploited due to unawareness and how do we increase awareness its simple by educating our future generations. Every child has the right to education. I was impressive to know that our literacy rate increased from 65.38% to 74% in 2011 however we still need to work on the rest 26% that is still illiterate..

It is our duty as the young minds of India to initiate, volunteer and work towards the change. One thing that i came across a few days ago was a similar initiative call Teach for India. Teach For India believes that it will take a movement of leaders with the idealism, belief, skills and commitment to actualize this vision. They are committed to finding, developing and supporting India’s brightest, most promising leaders for this to happen. This was defiantly very interesting..... although i would not be able to volunteer for this initiative but would defiantly want to be a part of it through as a contribution which I can afford.

It is very important for us to understand our Rights and Duties, as an Indian i feel that each and every citizen is responsible to bring that change that every country needs. Like they say Every country is not Perfect, We make it Perfect.
